About the Artist
M. T. Kingsley began her study of art in 1995, specializing in oil painting. The artist is primarily self-taught. Art featured prominently in her upbringing, being the daughter of an architect and a landscape painter. She grew up overseas and is especially interested in depicting people in native dress. She has a strong interest in still life, portraits featuring companion animals, as well as landscapes and religious themes. She is married, has two grown children, and a very spoiled German shepherd. M. T. Kingsley earned a BS in Business and a MA in Communication.
